In addition to EHF Elite & Tier I teams, group of EHF South and Affiliate teams to make season debut this weekend.

Another offseason has come and gone and the Eastern Hockey Federation’s youth division is finally ready for another season on the ice. With a handful of teams starting off the weekend with in-league matchups, 100 from across the EHF will participate in the 2019 Boston Breakout.

The Boston Breakout, part of the SuperSeries AAA, is underway from September 6-8, 2019 in rinks across New England. The event is a kickoff event for many of the participating youth and midget-level teams from across the Northeast.

For one hundred EHF teams their respective seasons will get underway at the Boston Breakout, competing in the 2010 (Squirt Minor), 2009 (Squirt Major), 2008 (Pee Wee Minor), 2007 (Pee Wee Major), 2006 (Bantam Minor), and midget divisions. The majority of the EHF delegation comes from the Elite Division with 46 teams. The Tier I Black and Tier I White divisions will also be well-represented, sending over a dozen teams to the showcase.

The Boston Breakout will also welcome nine organizations in the brand-new EHF South Division. The South Division, which will begin in-league play on September 14, will have 31 teams competing over the weekend. Four EHF-affiliate teams will also make their season debut with the Carolina Jr. Hurricanes and South Florida Hockey Academy each sending a bantam minor and U14 team up north.
